condition: good
make / manufacturer: E. G. Renesch
model name / number: "Over the Top"
size / dimensions: 16 x 12 3/4 inches
I’ve seen a few reproduction prints of this artwork, which is attributed to E. G. Renesch. , even though it’s not signed.

To make sure this poster wasn’t a print, I disassembled to frame to check. It’s definitely not a print. The paper is thicker and has slightly raised surface features. It has the trademark “feel” of an original lithograph.

As you can see from the photos, the artwork is highly detailed and colorful: a tank rearing up and firing at the enemy; the stars on the wings of a 1917 American fighter plane; and the round hand grenades. What you see in the bottom left hand corner are not scratches or scrapes of the artwork. It’s barbed wire.

The poster itself measures 16 x 12 3/4 (its original size), and the outside dimensions of the frame are 14 3/4 x 17 3/4.

Besides the poster being in very good shape, one of the owners during the last century wisely found the perfect frame, which is loaded with many stars.
