These do it yourself off grid solar kits are easy to connect and provide QUIET clean power. The size of the kit that would work best for you depends on how much power you use. Smaller kits work fine for cabins and RV's and larger kits can be used for homes to cut your electric bill down or go completely off grid. They also provide backup power if the utility lines go down.

The small kits, that are listed below, include 115 watt Avancis solar panels. They are extremely well built panels that were made in Germany. They are thin film panels that absorb light better than other panels so they perform better in low light conditions. They were made for our type of climate. Each panel is 63" tall by 27" wide.
The small kits with the 295 watt panels are mono crystalline panels and they perform extremely well as long as the system is configured correctly by connecting them in series if needed. They take up less space per watt so if you want a higher wattage array you wouldn't need quite as large of a stand or roof space to mount them. Each panel is 65" tall by 39" wide.
Larger kits can support large cabins, more people and longer stays without having to run a generator. I can make any size system that would work for you.
The kits below include the solar panel (or panels), a mppt charge controller, an outdoor disconnect, input and output breakers for the charge controller, battery cable to connect the charge controller to your batteries and enough 10 gauge PV wire to connect the panels up to 20ft away. If the panels are a greater distance away, I have 8-2 direct burial cable for $1.35 per foot.

I can make larger kits too. The kits listed above come with lower cost mppt charge controllers but I also have the top name brand charge controllers that charge at 12 to 48 volt DC and some new and used inverters and inverter chargers too. I'm also an authorized dealer for Magnum, Midnite Solar, Outback, Morningstar and Schneider Electric charge controllers. If you want to use a 24 volt system but need 12 volt DC for lighting, I have 24 volt to 12 volt DC converters.
Below is a price list for individual new solar panels that I have in stock.

I'm having a sale on some new and used Xantrex, Magnum and other inverter chargers. I have fully tested and inspected each one and they all work fine. I included pictures of some of them and I can email or text you more pictures of any that you are interested in. I can also email you spec sheets. Most of the used ones include the manual, AC cover, DC terminal covers and some are in the original box. I have remote control panels available for the Magnum, Xantrex and Schneider Electric inverter chargers. Below is a list of some of the inverters I have here in stock.

I sell complete solar packages that include the inverter too. I have all the DC wiring, breakers and connectors for complete off grid systems. I do not sell batteries for the off grid systems and some of the items needed to mount the panels. Golf cart batteries are usually the best choice and most of the materials needed to mount the panels can be purchased at any home improvement store.
Send me an email and I can send you spec sheets for many of the items I sell or I can email or text you pictures.
Mounting the panels can be done on a roof or on a stand on the ground. I can show you how to build an inexpensive mounting rack or stand for any amount of panels.
If you would like a grid tie system, I just need to know what your average kwh usage is per month. There should be a graph on your bill that shows what you used each month over the last 12 months. Figure out the average and I can tell you what size system you would need to zero out your bill or we can figure out what would fit your budget.
I do not do the installations but I will provide tech support if you have any questions while your doing the installation. I can also draw out a diagram on how the solar array will be connected for your specific array. It's actually pretty easy to do. The 30% federal tax credit is good for any type of system as long as it's a working system installed on your property. If you pay federal income tax, you will get 30% back of whatever you spend.

I've sold over 3/4 of a million watts worth of solar panels since 2013 to the DIY population.
