Solar powered cabin on small pond for summer rental, two story, furnished, 460 square feet, deck, new construction. Monthly 700 or weekly $185. Private and secluded with nice views, located on a five-acre parcel with trails, shared with on-site homeowners. Road to cabin is unpaved. Small solar system is limited. No air conditioning. No indoor plumbing. Water is from a rain barrel. Portable toilet that would need to be emptied into nearby septic tank (permitting for septic system is not complete). You will have to get a gym membership or drive to the YMCA in Angola or the Recreation Center or Aquatic Center in Coldwater for showers. Cabin is nearly complete; carpenters welcome to finish up the interior in exchange for rent at a rate of $25 per hour. Move in costs are $700 rent plus $700 security deposit. When your rent is next due, an experienced and skilled tradesperson can deduct approved work from next rent. All work must be pre-approved by home owner and we buy the materials. No smokers. No, you cannot smoke outside. If you are a smoker, please find somewhere else to stay. No cutting of any vegetation without approval from homeowners. No urinating off the deck. Application fee $35 for credit and background check. The fee is paid by you online to a third party and is not refundable even if you are not approved or change your mind. You sign a rental agreement with us, month to month only, no lease. This is a unique space that is not for everyone, but for the right person it is a great find. Located in California Township on South Ray Quincy Road; crossroads are Copeland and Southern.
